Manager, Learning Design and Faculty Training - Remote

Overview

The Manager, Learning Design & Faculty Training is a hybrid learning design and faculty development leadership role that strengthens teaching excellence across Smith Chason College’s on-ground and online modalities.

In Short

• Lead the design, delivery, and improvement of faculty development experiences.
• Build scalable systems that elevate instructional quality.
• Utilize learning technologies including iSpring, Articulate Rise, and TechSmith tools.
• Manage quarterly and monthly faculty development and CME-related webinars.
• Develop and continuously improve the faculty onboarding experience.
• Create faculty development training solutions aligned to teaching competencies.
• Lead the creation of a Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL).
• Support Continuous Learning group with learning design needs.
• Collaborate with academic leadership and subject matter experts.
• Maintain clear documentation for processes and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in relevant fields.
• Experience in faculty development and instructional design.
• Knowledge of learning science and adult learning theory.
• Proficiency with learning technologies and rapid development tools.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
• Ability to work with data and feedback for continuous improvement.
• High degree of professionalism and service orientation.
