Smartsheet is looking for a visionary leader and hands-on builder, capable of working across teams to solve challenging problems, architecting cloud-native enterprise solutions for our customers.

In Short

• Serve as a technical leader on demanding, cross-functional projects
• Decompose complex problems into simple solutions
• Build enterprise-grade scalable systems
• Solve distributed systems problems with modern cloud infrastructure
• Influence technical direction towards service-oriented architecture
• Guide and mentor team members on architecture and best practices
• Review and coach team on project designs
• Forge partnerships with product management and UX
• Drive integration of AI capabilities into multi-system architectures

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience
• 10+ years of programming experience with Java, Kotlin, or TypeScript
• 2+ years of experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
• Experience with REST APIs
• 1.5+ years of experience with AI-augmented features for SaaS products
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
