Overview

As a Product Manager at SmartRent, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our Smart Apartments platform, leveraging IoT solutions to enhance efficiency and elevate the resident experience.

In Short

• Drive product development from existing feature enhancements to entirely new epics.
• Collect and translate business requirements into solution and implementation specs.
• Work hands-on with designers to improve the UI/UX.
• Participate in agile activities such as backlog grooming and sprint planning.
• Define and ensure user acceptance and testing criteria.
• Maintain communication with key customers.
• Aggregate feedback to drive priority.
• Create release notes for internal teams and end users.
• Build and maintain user personas and product roadmaps.
• Assist in the creation of product prototypes and wireframes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related technical degree.
• 3+ years of experience in a Product Manager or similar role.
• Highly analytical with problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in documenting complex business processes.
• Ability to understand customer needs and convert them into technical documents.
• Experience defining a product roadmap.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google G-Suite.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Figma, and Google Analytics.
• Passionate about the business and user experience.
