Director of Product - Remote

Overview

Smalls is seeking a Director of Product to lead our product strategy and execution. You’ll report to our Chief Revenue Officer, working closely with leadership to set the roadmap for our digital product and customer experience.

In Short

• Own the end-to-end product roadmap and execution—from customer acquisition and retention to onsite customer experience to internal tools.
• Set ambitious OKRs and build roadmaps that balance long-term company vision with short-term wins.
• Utilize a combination of quantitative business cases, past experience, and a strong gut to prioritize the highest impact initiatives to achieve key goals.
• Oversee efficient execution of the product roadmap by collaborating with cross-functional teams, directing the product & engineering team, and identifying opportunities for more effective operations.
• Collaborate with Marketing to drive digital growth and meet our topline goals for revenue, CAC, and LTV.
• Champion a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making to identify and validate new product opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, analytics, and brand teams to deliver a seamless, simple customer experience that delights customers and moves the metrics.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 7, including engineers and a Technical Program Manager.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product management, preferably within e-commerce or subscription-based businesses.
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset.
• Experience in setting product KPIs and building dashboards to monitor performance.
• Ability to lead and mentor a diverse team.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Passion for customer experience and understanding customer needs.
• Ability to think strategically and commercially.
• Creative and bold mindset with a willingness to take risks.
