Director of Product - Remote

Overview

The Director of Product is responsible for inbound and outbound product management efforts, driving innovation in SaaS and encapsulating Percona’s expertise into new products.

In Short

• Build and evolve product vision and roadmap.
• Identify product and market opportunities through customer interactions.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams.
• Manage Product Managers to align tactical plans with strategic vision.
• Evaluate roadmaps to focus engineering talent on impactful initiatives.
• Engage with the community to promote products and gather insights.

Requirements

• Experience with open-source projects/products.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Experience in product management for enterprise IT software.
• Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into products.
• Technical background to engage in technical discussions.
• Experience working with inter-departmental stakeholders.
• Excellent work ethic and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages appreciated.
• Exceptional communication skills, including public speaking.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business.
