Senior Data Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Senior Data Analyst will lead the data analysis efforts, providing strategic insights and overseeing the execution of complex data projects. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with Power BI and general experience with databases.

• Present key findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders clearly and compellingly.
• Identify and investigate trends, anomalies, and opportunities within data sets to recommend actionable solutions
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance by implementing best practices in data management.
• Identify key metrics and develop data-driven strategies to support and achieve business objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred
• Over 5+ years experience with Power BI, including advanced reporting and dashboard creation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets
• Understanding and experience with data warehousing and database management, ensuring data extraction and transformation.
• Proficiency in BI tools (e.g Power BI, Tableau) and SQL for querying and data manipulation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills to effectively lead tasks and drive initiatives
• Process improvement and documentation experience
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a team
