Senior Analyst, Instructional Design - Accessibility Writing - Remote

Overview

As a member of our Content Engineering team, you will be accountable for delivering digital learning solutions across product types based on Skillsoft standards and guidelines. The primary purpose of the role is accessibility writing for Skillsoft products to enhance the overall usability and learning experience.

In Short

• Write Audio Descriptions for Skillsoft Technology and Developer content.
• Generate and validate captions ensuring they match the video/audio.
• Review audio descriptions for compliance with standards.
• Create/Edit transcripts using Skillsoft tools.
• Engage with stakeholders throughout the development process.
• Review deliverables for completeness and compliance.
• Revise content based on feedback from stakeholders.
• Participate in team and project meetings.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in writing for US content/audience.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 Principles and Guidelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Attention to detail.
• Experience in proofreading or editorial tasks.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent influencing and presentation skills.
• Proven skills in developing effective partnerships with stakeholders.
• Experience in technical writing is advantageous.
• Prioritization and conflict management skills.
