Appian Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Appian Software Engineer. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and defining requirements to determine the most effective software and web technologies to satisfy client needs. You'll develop, maintain, support, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements, providing specific input to system design, and adhering to formal design processes and guidelines. You'll design and develop user-friendly interfaces, maintain technical documentation, and ensure quality control of software. You will select development processes, recommend new technologies, and troubleshoot complex software problems. You'll also integrate new products with existing applications to improve system functionality and design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years of experience, or equivalent.
• Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Polygraph.
• Ability to complete development work on the high-side Linux environment.
• Security+ certification.
• Java experience (any level of experience is acceptable).
• Python experience (any level of experience is acceptable).
• Mongo experience (any level of experience is acceptable).
• Postgres experience (any level of experience is acceptable).
• Appian Experience (Minimum of 2 years of experience designing, developing or supporting Appian or Appian-based applications).
