Overview

SimSpace is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Engineering team, focusing on designing and developing core SOA-based services for cybersecurity environments.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain core SOA-based services for cybersecurity range simulation.
• Lead end-to-end technical projects from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Mentor and support engineers on coding best practices and architectural design.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and other engineers.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality.
• Implement monitoring and alerting strategies for system uptime.
• Ensure services meet security and compliance standards.
• Contribute to documentation of technical architecture and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on large-scale systems.
• Expertise in an OOP-based language such as Java or Kotlin.
• Experience with unit testing and deploying services in Kubernetes.
• Ability to design and operate fault-tolerant systems.
