Senior ICS/OT Cyber Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

SimSpace is seeking a highly skilled Senior ICS/OT Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team, focusing on securing Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Operational Technology (OT) environments.

In Short

• Set up and manage ICS/OT virtual lab environments.
• Design and implement security tools for virtual environments.
• Collaborate on vulnerability scenarios and analyses.
• Maintain best practices for integration of ICS/OT devices.
• Stay current with emerging threats in the ICS/OT space.
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members.
• Translate customer needs into actionable capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in ICS/OT security.
• Strong understanding of ICS/OT systems and components.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience with defensive security tools for ICS/OT environments.
• Knowledge of offensive security techniques for ICS/OT systems.
• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443).
• Experience with automation technologies (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Conversant in ICS/OT networking protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
