In Short

• Collaborate with the development team to automate testing for APIs/microservices.
• Create functional test automation using script tools and open source test tools.
• Support automation test framework and test tools.
• Execute regression tests and identify bugs.
• Isolate and track defects using test tools and Linux utilities.
• Work closely with Quality Engineering and Development teams.
• Communicate progress and issues within an Agile process.

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in software quality engineering, automation development, or software development.
• Ability to document and automate test cases for API/microservice qualification.
• Proficient in coding and debugging Javascript, Typescript, and Bash.
• Experience with open source testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Jest).
• Ability to manipulate and query SQL databases (MySQL).
• Knowledge of multi-tier web-based applications.
• Experience testing REST APIs.
• Implemented solutions in Javascript, Node.JS, and Typescript.
• Manipulation of OpenAPI/Swagger documents.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline deployment using GitHub Actions.
