Overview

The AI Security and Compliance Engineer is responsible for working with development and compliance teams to ensure secure and compliant AI development throughout the product lifecycle.

In Short

  • Ensure AI products have security and privacy by design.
  • Establish and document policies for data classification to prevent leaks of sensitive data.
  • Work with teams to ensure secure AI development throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Monitor and audit AI systems for compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Respond to security incidents involving AI systems.
  • Create AI-specific incident management procedures.
  • Enhance resilience of AI systems against potential threats.
  • Provide AI security training for internal development teams.
  • Maintain knowledge of AI risks and security tools.
  • Perform other duties to support technical and operational security.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience with 2-5 years in IT security or AI development.
  • Certifications like CISSP, CISM, SSCP, CCSP, or CompTIA Security+ are desired.
  • Understanding of Application Security and Data Security, including OWASP Top 10.
  • Proficiency in AI technologies such as Llama and ChatGPT.
  • Experience with web applications and API security.
  • General knowledge of security implications related to networks and databases.
  • Experience with vulnerability management and security frameworks like ISO 27001.
  • Flexibility to work off-hours and support 24x7 on-call for incident response.
  • Experience in software development and automation using SQL.
