Senior Backend Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a critical role having complete ownership in the design, development, and implementation of a robust and scalable backend & infrastructure used by our mobile clients, making a significant impact on shaping the services and features that will bring our product to life.

In Short

• Write simple, high quality code that can easily be understood and leveraged by others.
• Lead full life cycle design & implementation of product requirements, including task break-down, delivering, testing, and maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with the product and engineering team to transform product and feature specifications into reality.
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in a backend language (preferably Golang).
• Strong knowledge in programming, architecture, database design, and operations.
• Experience in scaling distributed systems and understanding the constraints and trade-offs.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture, message queues, and event streaming.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Docker, GitHub Actions, and AWS Fargate.
• Self-starter capable of rolling out quality code and building simple systems.
• Excited about working on an AI product.
