Cashea is on a mission to bring optimism back to Venezuelans by building innovative financial products, and is looking for a Data Engineer to build and optimize the data infrastructure.

In Short

Design, build, and optimize data pipelines for financial data.
Implement optimized data models for reporting and audits.
Ensure data quality and consistency through validations.
Automate reports and dashboards for key metrics.
Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams.
Optimize data processing and storage efficiency.
Ensure security and governance of financial data.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics.
Advanced SQL and data modeling knowledge.
Experience with ETL/ELT tools like dbt or Airflow.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably GCP).
Proficiency in Python for data processing.
Understanding of financial principles.
Ability to work with large data volumes.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
