In Short

Directly manage engineers, fostering a strong engineering culture of growth and high performance.
Lead the engineering process from conception to deployment.
Lead software design and architectural decisions.
Collaborate with Product and Design to define project requirements and goals.
Manage cycle planning and delivery, estimation, engineering resource allocation.
Conduct code reviews and manage releases.
Develop solutions for ambiguous problems, collaborating with Product, Design, and Customer Success.
Apply your experience with Postgres and CI/CD tools to improve our engineering practices.

Requirements

At least 5 years of software engineering experience and at least 2 years of experience managing a team of 10+ software engineers.
Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring and developing engineering talent.
Strong background in software architecture, specifically with highly scalable, robust SaaS applications.
Track record of strong technical judgment and delivering creative solutions that delight customers.
Working knowledge of LLMs, AI or machine learning.
Familiarity with backend development in NodeJS, Typescript, Express, and AWS services.
Experience with Postgres and CI/CD tools like GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins.
