Shelter House, established in 1981, is a dedicated organization responding to the homelessness crisis in Fairfax County. With a team of over 100 employees, Shelter House focuses on preventing and ending homelessness and domestic violence through collaboration with government, private partners, and community members. The organization has positively impacted nearly 2,000 individuals in the past year, half of whom were children. Guided by core values of Inclusivity, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Empowerment (iC.A.R.E.), Shelter House is committed to providing compassionate support and resources to those in need.
