AML Analyst - Remote

Overview

Shakepay is looking for an AML Analyst to support our AML team in protecting our platform and customers. You will ensure accuracy and consistency in every task while transforming routine processes into a seamless workflow.

In Short

• Review and investigate name screening alerts against sanctions and watchlists.
• Analyze customer transactions for unusual or suspicious activity.
• Prepare and file Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and Large Virtual Currency Transaction Reports (LVCTRs).
• Support additional AML workflows as needed.
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings.
• Collaborate with internal teams using Slack and Google Meet.
• Escalate unusual account activity to senior team members.

Requirements

• 1+ year of AML experience with a bank or fintech.
• Strong data entry skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
