Overview

The Technical Director, Product Assessor (Medical Devices), is responsible for developing a profitable and sustainable medical devices business sector within Business Assurance in the US and Canada, ensuring operational efficiency and profitability.

In Short

• Conduct Medical Devices Technical file/Documentation reviews with 80% Utilization
• Assist in the training/onboarding of new product assessors
• Perform observation/witness technical file review assessments
• Support the development of systems and processes for effective service delivery
• Coordinate with Key Account Specialists to ensure timely Technical Documentation reviews
• Respond to client inquiries on technical matters
• Maintain competence through additional training as necessary
• Support the team to meet operational KPIs
• Identify growth initiatives in the medical devices market
• Deliver training and support material development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Engineering, Operations or related discipline
• 10+ years of relevant experience in Medical Devices
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience
• Advanced English language skills; French preferred
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
• Knowledge of current standards and legislation in the Medical Devices industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Leadership and coaching skills
