Overview

The Senior Analyst will lead efforts to provide understanding and clarity in content aimed at Inspire’s customers regarding EU policies related to energy transition and legislation.

In Short

• Monitor and research EU policy and legislative developments in energy and transportation.
• Analyze developments and write reports in various formats.
• Build global datasets for visualizations on fuel standards and emissions.
• Advise customers on regulations and standards in the EU.
• Draft briefings and presentations for stakeholders.
• Represent SGS INSPIRE at conferences and workshops.
• Contribute to bespoke consulting projects.
• Network with policymakers and industry stakeholders in the EU.
• Show initiative in enhancing customer content.
• Understand global market developments related to EU policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s law degree from a European university.
• 8+ years of experience in transportation, fuels, or energy sectors.
• Understanding of European legislative processes.
• Experience with European institutions or in Brussels is a plus.
• Excellent English; other languages like French or German are advantageous.
• Ability to understand market developments in the EU.
