Altarum Institute’s Applied Research and Analytics Practice Area is seeking a Senior Health Economics and Policy Analyst to join our fast-paced, demanding, but rewarding, consulting environment. We work to improve the health of disenfranchised populations by combining our expertise in public health and health care delivery to address health disparities, improve programs, and build better systems of care through an equity-focused lens.

In Short

• Designing and leading research projects using qualitative and quantitative methods
• Analyzing health sector and economic data
• Conducting statistical analyses and economic evaluations
• Creating presentations and reports for various audiences
• Managing and supervising junior staff
• Supporting business development activities

Requirements

• Master’s degree in public health, economics, social science, public policy, or related field
• 6+ years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of research methods and processes
• Experience with economic and statistical analyses
• Technical proficiency in analytical software
• Strong organizational and communication skills
