Global Technical Manager – Customised Food Programs - Remote

Overview

The Global Technical Manager is responsible for the technical development, deployment, and management of customized audit programs and food certification schemes within Business Assurance.

In Short

• Support and optimize customized food programs.
• Act as lead technical contact and project manager for Global Key Accounts.
• Lead technical development of 2nd party and customized projects.
• Collaborate with Global Key Account Managers for program deployment.
• Manage auditor development and training for global projects.
• Engage with clients to lead technical discussions and present project status.
• Drive consistency and improvement of food-related SOPs globally.
• Identify new opportunities for customized food services.
• Provide technical support to affiliates and customers.
• Represent SGS in industry working groups and events.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in food or related industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, or related discipline.
• Thorough understanding of food safety principles and auditing background.
• Excellent understanding of food safety and quality systems.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage priorities.
• Excellent verbal and technical writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
