Overview

The Global Technical Governance Manager will provide technical guidance and support to ensure compliance with various accreditation standards and contribute to business development in the conformity assessment sector.

In Short

• Act as global Technical Manager for compliance with ISO/IEC standards.
• Provide technical files to Accreditation Bodies.
• Prepare product and sector technical write-ups for Government Agencies.
• Offer technical advice on PCA operations.
• Prepare new Certification Schemes for business opportunities.
• Investigate national quality management infrastructure.
• Provide recommendations on conformity assessment business.
• Assist in establishing collaboration activities with other groups.
• Identify business opportunities and develop new service offerings.
• Deliver training on ISO standards and risk assessment methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in relevant fields.
• Competent knowledge of trade, export procedures, and technical regulations.
• Understanding of product certification and applicable standards.
• Experience in conformity assessment regimes.
• Minimum 5 years management experience in conformity assessment.
• Working knowledge of ISO standards.
• Experience in multicultural work environments.
• Above average communication and training skills.
• Experience in regulatory work from Standards Bodies.
