GFSI Qualified Auditor (FSSC, SQF, BRC) - Remote

Overview

As the GFSI Qualified Auditor, you will perform third-party audits per SGS Certification procedures and requirements of one or more applicable standards (i.e. FSSC22000, SQF, BRC).

In Short

• Perform certification audits in conformance with SGS procedures.
• Provide recommendations for certification based on audit evidence.
• Collaborate with teams of Auditors during audits.
• Assist in training other Auditors.
• Participate in witness audits by SGS or accreditation bodies.
• Maintain all audit-related credentials.
• Adhere to internal standards and policies.
• Travel up to 80% of the time for audits.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Act with integrity and professionalism.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in food science or bio science.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Lead Auditor for FSSC, BRC, or SQF.
• Minimum 5 years in a management role in the food industry.
• Minimum 2 years in quality assurance or food safety management.
• Strong knowledge of technical applications of standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.
• Proactive attitude and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to react effectively in stressful situations.
• High level of English proficiency.
