Overview

SGS is a major international company specializing in inspection, verification, testing, and certification. They are currently seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join their laboratory in Wavre.

In Short

• Manage customer inquiries via email and phone.
• Draft and send price offers and update the database.
• Verify and acknowledge purchase orders.
• Send raw data and client mailings.
• Perform various administrative tasks.
• Full-time position with a temporary period before permanent employment.
• Required to have at least 1 year of experience in customer service or administrative work.
• Knowledge of English is required for frequent email exchanges and phone contacts.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Organizational skills and good communication are essential.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in customer service or administrative roles.
• Degree in marketing, secretarial studies, or languages is a plus.
• Proficient in English, both oral and written.
• Strong skills in MS Office.
• Excellent spelling and organizational skills.
• Flexible and good communication skills.
• Ability to interact easily with other departments and clients.
