Classification Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Classification Analyst is responsible for providing applicable HS codes for classification requests, analyzing classification cases, and managing risk information for contracts.

In Short

• Provide HS codes for subcontracted files and classification requests.
• Analyze received classification cases.
• Advise affiliates on applicable HS codes and justifications.
• Update HS codes in the system as needed.
• Register resolved cases in the Classification Database.
• Investigate classification automation issues.
• Handle risk management for assigned contracts.
• Validate risk information from affiliates.
• Conduct periodic reviews of registered risk records.
• Communicate effectively in written and oral forms.

Requirements

• University degree or minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Technical work industry experience in various fields.
• Good understanding of WCO HS General Interpretative Rules.
• In-depth knowledge of technical and professional skills related to HS classification.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
