It’s designed to take deliveries away from congested streets, make deliveries available to more people, and benefit local businesses. The Serve fleet has been delighting merchants, customers, and pedestrians along the way in Los Angeles while doing commercial deliveries.

In Short

• Develop dependable and proficient sidewalk autonomy software.
• Identify and implement foundational vision grounding models.
• Train and deploy learning-based perception models.
• Optimize machine learning models for embedded hardware platforms.
• Become an expert in knowledge distillation and model compression.
• Develop high-performance custom kernels using CUDA.
• Work with ML infrastructure engineers to monitor model performance.
• Produce high-quality code and participate in code reviews.

Requirements

• Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of industry experience in ML/DL or Robotics.
• Proficient in C++, Python, and CUDA programming.
• Experience with edge-device perception stack deployment.
• Fundamental understanding of computer vision and machine learning.
• Experience with multiple sensors like Lidar and cameras.
• Strong communication skills.
