Senior Java Developer - Remote

Overview

Septeo is a leading software publisher in Europe, rapidly growing and transforming into one of Europe's tech leaders. They are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join their team in Tunisia.

In Short

• Work with Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate.
• Build and maintain a platform using a hexagonal architecture.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers and product managers.
• Ensure scalability, security, and observability of services.
• Participate in code reviews and mentoring.
• Work throughout the entire development lifecycle.
• Implement and improve APIs and data models.
• Take responsibility for your code.
• Experience with cloud-native applications is a plus.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of backend development experience.
• Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Advanced experience with relational databases.
• Ability to write clean and maintainable code.
• Intermediate English level.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD is desirable.
• Knowledge of frontend frameworks is a plus.
• Experience with monitoring tools is a plus.
• Proficiency in Spanish is desirable.
