CMMC Practice Lead - Remote

Overview

Sentinel Blue is seeking a CMMC Practice Lead to join our growing cybersecurity assessment team. As a CMMC Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO), we are looking for a Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA) to oversee and manage our C3PAO practice. This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take charge of coordinating, operating, and leading CMMC Certification Assessments for our defense industry clients.

In Short

• Lead the operation of CMMC Certification Assessments, including planning and coordination.
• Manage assessment teams during on-site and remote assessments.
• Serve as primary contact for clients during the assessment process.
• Ensure compliance with CMMC guidelines and best practices.
• Develop strong client relationships and provide subject matter expertise.
• Oversee documentation and reporting related to assessments.
• Collaborate with team members to improve assessment methodologies.

Requirements

• Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA) certification required.
• Five years of cybersecurity and management experience.
• Three years of audit or assessment experience.
• Active certification from Directive 8140.3 Job ID 612 required.
• Experience managing CMMC or similar compliance assessments.
• Strong understanding of CMMC standards and related requirements.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for technical concepts.
• Self-motivated and client-facing experience.
