Threat Intelligence Researcher - Remote

Overview

SecurityScorecard is seeking an experienced threat hunter/threat researcher to join their Threat Research team, focusing on cybersecurity ratings and threat intelligence.

In Short

• Track and analyze advanced threats and campaigns.
• Write automation code in Python for threat intelligence data collection.
• Maintain knowledge of APT, ransomware, and cybercrime TTPs.
• Publish reports and share findings with the security community.
• Train others on tracking advanced threats.
• Analyze technical data to extract attacker TTPs.
• Identify emerging threat activity.
• Perform threat research during high-severity cyber-attacks.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in security research.
• Fluent in at least one high-level programming language (Python preferred).
• Experience with threat intelligence platforms.
