Overview

The Cyber Threat Analysis Branch (CTAB) is looking for a Cyber Threat Intelligence Researcher to support in the provision of technical cyber threat intelligence to the NATO Enterprise and Alliance through researching threat actors’ tactics, techniques and procedures.

• Conduct research into prioritized cyber threat actors.
• Perform pattern analysis on threat actor infrastructure.
• Translate threat actor tactics into actionable intelligence.
• Support threat researchers and advise on technical topics.
• Collaborate with team leads for cyber threat intelligence production.
• Utilize CTAB Cyber Threat Intelligence Platform.
• Analyze new cyber threats based on existing techniques.
• Create detection signatures for network defenders.
• Engage in strategic intelligence production for decision makers.
• Maintain awareness of the cybersecurity landscape.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in cyber threat intelligence.
• Knowledge of threat actor groups and attack patterns.
• Familiarity with the intelligence lifecycle and analytical tradecraft.
• Strong communication skills for conveying complex topics.
• Understanding of network and system fundamentals.
• Experience with programming in scripting languages like Python.
• Possession of recognized cybersecurity certifications.
• Cybersecurity oriented university degree or equivalent training.
• Proficient in Business English.
• Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance.
