Data Scientist - Remote

SeatGeek believes live events are powerful experiences that unite humans. With our technological savvy and fan-first attitude we’re simplifying and modernizing the ticketing industry. We are looking for a Data Scientist to join SeatGeek’s Demand Analytics team, focusing on measurement and optimization of marketing channel performances.

In Short

• Develop, validate and maintain machine learning models that support business strategies and decisions
• Design experiments or use causal inference methods to measure channel incrementality or campaign effectiveness
• Conduct data analysis to generate insights and recommendations
• Monitor key metrics and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineering to build data models
• Contribute to the Demand Analytics function and data community
• Partner with stakeholders to align objectives and work

Requirements

• Experience with open-ended projects and creative problem-solving
• 3+ years of applied experience in a quantitative discipline
• Strong understanding of statistical methods for analysis
• Expertise in Python or R, and SQL
• Experience with analytics and visualization tools
• Ability to analyze large datasets
• Natural communication skills for building relationships
