Senior Backend Engineer (Python/Django) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong experience in Python and Django frameworks to join our growing team. This is an Expression of Interest for future opportunities.

In Short

• Fully remote role for candidates located in Central or Eastern Europe, LATAM, Africa, or the Middle East.
• Focus on engineering products and services that improve website performance.
• Work with a team of 5-6 people to build new product features.
• Utilize a tech stack including Django, Python, Docker, and more.
• Strong experience in Python (5+ years) and Django Rest Framework (5+ years) required.
• Experience with test cases and TDD is essential.
• Knowledge of Scrum and basic Flake8 code quality is necessary.
• Frontend experience with ReactJS & Typescript is a bonus.
• 15 days PTO plus holidays.
• Salary range of $3,000 - $4,500 monthly.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Python.
• 5+ years of experience with Django Rest Framework.
• 3+ years of experience with MySQL or Postgres.
• Knowledge of Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with Flake8 for code quality.
• Frontend experience is a nice bonus.
• Knowledge of Node.js/TypeScript is a bonus.
