Overview

We’re looking for a seasoned Python backend developer with a passion for problem solving and a knack for leadership to join our fully distributed tech team full time.

In Short

Work within a backend team to improve the core product.
Simplify complex problems and provide solutions.
Take the micropayments platform to market.
Collaborate with Product Managers, UX designers, and Frontend Engineers.
Lead architectural discussions and contribute clean, tested code.
Manage tooling and create documentation for features.
Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.

Requirements

Deep experience with Python and its ecosystems.
Experience in fintech, payments, or ad serving.
Understanding of complex systems and architecture.
Ability to decompose complexity and refine requirements.
Provide mentorship to other engineers.
Good decision-making skills around technical debt.
Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical colleagues.
Good understanding of API design.
Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
Prior experience in a senior role.
