Full Stack Senior Software Engineer / Team Lead (Django and React) - Remote

Overview

We're looking for an EU-based hands-on engineering leader to lead a talented team of engineers in delivering delightful software for SchooLinks customers.

In Short

• Initially serve as a Full Stack Software Engineer on an existing team.
• Plan and support the entire pod's work alongside the existing Engineering Manager.
• Take over a team comprising of 3-5 engineers (frontend and backend).
• Translate epics and user stories into technical specifications and development tasks.
• Engage in pair planning, pair coding, and reviewing team members' PRs.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects and remove blockers as they arise.
• Collaborate with other managers to implement technical solutions.
• Triage and prioritize production issues and customer escalations.
• Maintain good technical hygiene, code quality, and engineering best practices.
