In Short

• Design and develop new features for the Block Storage product.
• Maintain and improve existing functionality, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Participate in on-call rotation for Level 2 support.
• Contribute to product documentation and onboarding materials.
• Collaborate with Data Center teams for hardware-related interventions.
• Review peer code and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in team dailies and planning sessions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues.
• Optimize performance and reliability of storage services.

Requirements

• Autonomy in handling development confidently.
• Analytical thinking to simplify complex systems.
• Team spirit with open sharing of ideas.
• Ability to ease onboarding for others through documentation.
• Reliability in supporting critical on-call shifts.
• Experience with Ceph for enhancing distributed storage.
• Proficiency in Go for building efficient tooling.
• Familiarity with Linux systems for close-to-hardware work.
• Experience managing relational databases with PostgreSQL.
• Skills in debugging to resolve real-world incidents.
