Financial Analyst - Remote

Overview

Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst to play a key role in driving the company’s financial strategy and decision-making process. You will be responsible for managing various aspects of financial modeling and profitability analysis. Working cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and finance, you will assist in building decks, analyzing financial data, and ensuring that all financial reports are accurate and insightful. Ideally, you bring experience from a startup environment, particularly in the consumer industry, and have a strong understanding of strategic finance, FP&A, and financial modeling.

• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making.

• Prepare detailed financial reports, including balance sheets and P&L statements.

• Maintain strong vendor relationships and resolve purchase issues.
• Support business line of credit reporting and reconciliation.
• Provide strategic insights and financial recommendations to leadership.
• Ensure alignment between financial performance and company goals.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, and/or strategic finance.
• Strong proficiency in Excel for analyzing financial performance.
• Familiarity with financial modeling techniques and P&L management.
• Experience in a startup environment, ideally in the consumer industry.
• Experience with consumer product industry supply chain accounting is preferred.
• CPA certification is a bonus but not required.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with teams.
• Strategic thinker with financial insights that align with business goals.
