Overview

As a Principal Data Engineer at Saviynt, you will lead the development and optimization of ElasticSearch for scalable search and analytics solutions, ensuring high performance and security.

In Short

Lead ElasticSearch upgrades and ensure minimal downtime.
Design best practices for scalability and performance tuning.
Optimize search indexing and query performance.
Develop monitoring and alerting mechanisms for ElasticSearch clusters.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration.
Implement multi-tenant architecture within ElasticSearch.
Define best practices for data modeling and indexing strategies.
Troubleshoot and resolve ElasticSearch issues.
Enhance security configurations and compliance.
Automate operational tasks using IaC tools.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields.
Proven experience upgrading ElasticSearch in production.
Expertise in performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Experience with multi-tenant solutions in ElasticSearch.
Hands-on experience with indexing strategies and sharding.
Strong understanding of Elasticsearch security best practices.
Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience with Java/SpringBoot and RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerized environments.
Experience with infrastructure automation tools.
