Principal Scientist CHO Cells, Media and Processes - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Principal Scientist CHO Cells, Media and Processes (x|f|m) for the Research and Development Advanced Therapy Solutions department at our sites in Ulm or Bielefeld, Sartorius Xell GmbH. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the Technology Strategy | Roadmap in the field of Cell Culture Media and CHO Cell Lines & Processes.

In Short

• Develop and execute the strategy for CHO upstream platform.
• Design and lead tactical plans based on corporate strategy.
• Collaborate with internal and external experts internationally.
• Maintain technical relationships with CHO or media customers.
• Ensure successful technical application of research projects.
• Consult and advise a global team of Senior Scientists and Managers.
• Evaluate and present project results in meetings.
• Represent Sartorius in Committees, Conferences, and Panels.
• PhD in Science specializing in Biotechnology or related field.
• Several years of experience in the biotech industry focusing on CHO processes.

Requirements

• Proven track record in CHO cell lines and processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and challenge existing processes.
• Creative and innovative thinking skills.
• Good organization and time management abilities.
• Analytical and conceptual thinker capable of solving complex problems.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%.
