Field Service Engineer - Remote

Overview

Sartorius is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join the Lab Products & Services team supporting the San Francisco Bay Area. This role requires a proactive and energetic candidate to provide exceptional customer care and technical support.

In Short

• Provide exceptional customer care and build positive relationships with customers.
• Perform field service, calibration, and installation of complex mechanical systems.
• Assist with resolving IT issues related to Bio Analytics system installations.
• Provide training to customers on the use and operation of Bio Analytics instruments.
• Keep accurate records and produce detailed service reports.
• Travel to customer sites primarily within the Bay Area.
• Draft documentation of process and procedure as required.
• Follow company procedures and perform software updates/upgrades.
• Frequent lifting of items weighing up to 35 Kg.
• Pass along identified leads to the sales manager.

Requirements

• Associates degree or certifications in engineering or a minimum of 5 years Field Service Engineer experience.
• 3+ years of field service experience in the Bio-Pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent mechanical, electrical, and IT skills.
• A valid Driver's License.
• Proficient with MS Office software.
• Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
