Overview

Samsara is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to support our growing hardware supply chain team, partnering with various departments to optimize strategic supply chain partnerships.

In Short

• Support supplier relationships and drive alignment on component pipeline and risk assessments.
• Develop global sourcing strategies and evaluate new supplier opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build supply chain integrations.
• Assist with collecting quotes, leading negotiations, and cost analysis.
• Support supply chain spend analytics processes and systems.
• Conduct market research on business trends and global pricing.
• Identify cost savings opportunities by optimizing design and materials.
• Assist with cost modeling for custom components.
• Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally.

Requirements

• Pursuing an MBA or Master’s degree in relevant fields, graduating in Spring 2027.
• BS in a relevant technical field such as Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 2+ years of work experience in an Operations-focused role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to develop strategic insights and trends.
• Advanced analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Preferred experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or planning.
