Overview

The Strategic Customer Success Manager at Samsara will work closely with large Fleet customers to understand their challenges, advise on leveraging Samsara's IoT platform, and become their long-term strategic partner.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Support, Sales Engineering, and Product teams.
  • Compose joint success plans with metrics and timelines.
  • Conduct executive business reviews.
  • Deeply understand and explain Samsara's platform capabilities.
  • Serve as a mentor to the Customer Success team.
  • Champion company cultural principles.
  • Travel to customer sites as needed (25-40%).
  • Be part of a fast-paced, change-heavy environment.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in Customer Success or account management.
  • Experience with Enterprise SaaS or Fortune 500 companies.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and priority management.
  • Experience with technical products.
  • Solutions-oriented with problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of effective communication.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year institution.
  • Passion for initiative and excellence.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Customer travel expected.
