Finance Manager - Finance Operations - Remote

Overview

This role will directly support the Finance Operations - Business Operations team by supporting and outlining processes that require complex data analysis, cross functional collaboration and process implementation. This individual will play a key role in driving forward large-scale systems and operations projects that involve multiple departments and teams, focusing on designing and delivering a favorable outcome for all parties involved.

In Short

• Play a critical role on the Finance Ops Business Operations team by compiling and reporting on high-visibility business KPI’s.
• Develop framework and tool for analyzing customer invoices, credits, payments and refunds.
• Leverage customer billing tool to forecast and analyze deferred revenue.
• Analyze large scale data in Tableau and Databricks.
• Assist KPI/Data team in building out new data insights.
• Serve as a key point of contact for project design decisions.
• Enable the business to hit growth and profitability targets.
• Partner with the Finance Organization to optimize existing processes.
• Champion Samsara’s cultural principles.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, Investment Banking, or Finance Operations.
• Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or related field.
• Strong financial modeling and analysis capabilities.
• Strong accounting knowledge.
• Experience using Tableau or other data-visualization tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience managing cross functional data or project initiatives.
