Overview

The Corporate Finance & Strategy Lead will play a crucial role in guiding financial strategy and operations at Samsara, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.

In Short

• Lead annual budgeting and long-term financial forecasting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts.
• Own driver-based forecasts for global expenses.
• Create reporting packages for the Executive Team and Board.
• Collaborate with F&S systems team on financial planning tools.
• Serve as a financial business partner for People Ops and Recruiting.
• Develop scalable processes for financial visibility and control.
• Provide ad hoc analysis to support decision making.
• Experience in a managerial role and developing a team.
• Ability to work PST hours.

Requirements

• 8+ years in Finance, Accounting, or Investment Banking.
• 5+ years in Strategic Finance / FP&A.
• Strong accounting knowledge.
• Experience in financial modeling and budgeting.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience managing and developing a team.
• Familiarity with NetSuite, Workday, Adaptive Planning.
• Bachelor's degree.
