Accounts Payable Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist is primarily focused on accounts payable activities, including processing invoices and the related payments owed by Samsara to our suppliers and other creditors. This role can be office-based or fully remote in Mexico.

In Short

• Responsible for processing high volume invoices accurately and timely.
• Handle invoices in multi-currency from domestic and international vendors.
• Work closely with individuals at all levels of the Company.
• Assist with weekly payments runs to ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Address and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Support the monthly closing process for accounts payable.
• Identify opportunities for efficiencies in accounts payable processes.
• Maintain and perform AP SOX and operational controls.
• Document AP processes compliant with internal controls.
• Champion Samsara’s cultural principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration.
• Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Able to work with high volume of transactions.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Experience with ERP Systems (NetSuite preferred).
• Zendesk experience preferred.
• SOX compliance preferred.
