Enrollment Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Enrollment Specialist role is crucial in making sure health coverage for both patients and community members are accessible and affordable. Enrollment Specialists perform one-on-one enrollment visits with patients both over the phone and in person to provide important information on Salud’s services and policies and help clients apply for any health coverage programs and insurances they may qualify for.

In Short

• Perform enrollment visits with patients over the phone and in person.
• Assist clients in applying for health coverage programs.
• Hybrid role: 50% remote and 50% in clinic.
• Starting wage of $19 to $21 per hour.
• Work hours are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree or two years toward a BS or BA preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Sensitivity to low-income and ethnic minority communities is a must.
• Ability to explain health coverage concepts clearly.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and internet use.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and problem-solve effectively.
