Enrollment Specialist - Remote

Boulder Care is looking for an Enrollment Specialist for a 100% remote, full-time position with multiple shifts available based on team needs. In Short

• First point of contact for incoming calls and messages.
• Handle inquiries from patients, pharmacies, insurers, and referrers.
• Answer questions, schedule appointments, and provide resources.
• Explain insurance eligibility and enroll new patients.
• Support potential patients seeking Substance Use Disorder (SUD) care.
• Navigate different insurances and communicate benefits to patients.
• Provide administrative and scheduling support to the Care Team.
• Monitor incoming faxes and respond to voicemails.
• Call patients for visit reminders and rescheduling.
• Collaborate with the Care Team to improve patient experience.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of healthcare terminology, especially addiction medicine.
• Passion for serving people with addiction and mental health challenges.
• Understanding of health system enrollments and payor/provider languages.
• Comfortable with technology and common business tools.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-driven and organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and follow through with minimal supervision.
• Team-focused and collaborative.
