Performance Engineer (SMTS, LMTS) - Remote

Overview

This role involves working as a key member of the Retail Cloud POS Performance Engineering team at Salesforce, focused on optimizing large-scale distributed systems and enhancing performance across the platform.

In Short

• Serve as the test engineer for the POS product.
• Collaborate with engineers to design performance tests and metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in order management or eCommerce platforms.
• Strong understanding of performance engineering concepts.
• Skilled in identifying CPU/memory contention issues.
• Comfortable with O(n) complexity analysis.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Ability to analyze latency and throughput metrics.
• Familiarity with load generation and profiling tools.
• Strong collaboration skills across product teams.
