Regional Sales Manager, Transit Bus & Rail (Northwest USA) - Remote

Overview

As a Regional Sales Manager at Safe Fleet, you will be responsible for providing customers with exceptional knowledge and demonstration of complex solutions through a consultative sales approach, owning the Business Plan for the defined territory.

In Short

• Responsible for creating and executing the business plan for the assigned territory.
• Establish direct contacts and relationships with customers and prospects.
• Develop existing accounts and increase revenue through upselling.
• Complete weekly activity reporting in accordance with company standards.
• Communicate the Safe Fleet story and value proposition effectively.
• Maintain knowledge of Safe Fleet product lines applicable to transit bus and light rail.
• Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis.
• Represent the company at networking functions and industry events.
• Execute effective marketing and prospecting programs.
• Identify potential OEMs/ODMs for business development.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of consultative sales experience in integrated video/security systems.
• Understanding of internet and wireless communication systems.
• Ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical buyers.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Suite.
• Proven track record of developing effective strategies and proposals.
• Excellent communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong closing attitude balanced with flexibility and adaptability.
• Familiarity with government purchasing cycles and processes.
• Valid driver’s license and passport required for travel.
