Overview

The Manager, Legal and Business Affairs will support the General Counsel in various legal administrative duties, focusing on contract administration and improving internal legal processes.

In Short

  • Assist in developing a contract tracking system.
  • Coordinate general contracts and document processes.
  • Draft low complexity contracts and letter agreements.
  • Monitor contract turnaround times and suggest improvements.
  • Provide administrative support including calendaring and document proofing.
  • Collaborate with other department coordinators.
  • Review and proof commercial agreements.
  • Help oversee the contract management system.
  • Drive tasks to execution across departments.
  • Suggest innovative ways to improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • BS/BA required; 5 years of contract management experience preferred.
  • LLM or JD preferred but not required.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
  • Good time-management skills.
  • Experience in legal research is a plus.
  • Positive and personable attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through.
