Senior Billing Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Senior Billing Analyst is a key resource for the client’s billing team, responsible for all aspects of client billing including bill preparation, research and analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting.

• Responsible for client billing processes and administration.
• Create budget projections and assist in collections.
• Communicate client billing guidelines effectively.
• Perform editing and processing of legal invoices.
• Assist customers with billing inquiries and troubleshoot issues.
• Execute monthly invoices and manage billing workflows.
• Provide support and guidance to junior team members.
• Collaborate with financial colleagues to resolve issues.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
• Train new Billing Analysts and manage special projects.

Requirements

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
• Minimum four years of billing experience required.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Experience with Aderant or Elite systems preferred.
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality.
